Banana Chant is a funkadelic Rock Band based in Miami, Florida.
Their sound mimics Miami: a melting pot of energy and sweat.
Their shows are a mix of covers and originals, groovy bass licks and tasteful melodies, and an organic appreciation for good old fashioned rock and roll.
Every song is a story and every story deserves a guitar solo.
BC is the lovechild of singer, Giovanni “Gilexson” Negron, brothers, guitarist and drummer, Tanis and Ander “Doof” Perez, and bassist Carter Moylan.
The band began in the DM’s in 2017 and has been evolving ever since.
Their sound and influences have changed as the years have gone by, but some staples have always been Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Beatles, Young the Giant, and Brand New.
